About Us

Trexlertown Farmers’ Market was created by a group of local farmers as a way to engage with their neighbors in Western Lehigh and Eastern Berks Counties, the same communities in which they live, work, and raise their families.

The focus of the market is to provide access to locally grown and raised products directly from the producers themselves. No middlemen, no aggregators, no wholesalers. Just the local producers delivering the bounty of their hard work!

All of our vendors are located within a 30 mile radius of the market and are committed to delivering the highest quality local products available at their peak of freshness.

The 2017 season of the Trexlertown Farmers’ Market at Valley Preferred Cycling Center (The Velodrome) kicks off on May 13th, 2016 from 9am until 1pm. The market will run every Saturday morning until November 18th, the Saturday before Thanksgiving!

Trexlertown Farmers’ Market is located at the world famous Valley Preferred Cycling Center (The Velodrome), part of the Bob Rodale Cycling and Fitness Park in Upper Macungie Township, Lehigh County. Valley Preferred Cycling Center is the premier cycling facility in the United States and has been home to some of the best cyclists in the world for the last four decades, including USA Olympic Medalists. Saturday mornings The Velodrome is abuzz with activity that includes: their PeeWee Peddlers program, public track access as well as a meeting point for multiple group rides through the scenic country roads in the surrounding area. Additionally, the Fitness Park includes numerous athletic fields, a cricket pitch, and courts for league and public use.

The market is located in the courtyard of The Velodrome which allows for parking within a few short steps of the market. No parking hassles or long walks back and forth to the car!

We are also a “family friendly” market with clean and accommodating bathrooms and a lockerroom that allow you to take full advantage of the market and Fitness Park so you can make a day of it with the family!

We are located less than a mile from the 222 Bypass, a short distance from Interstate 78, Route 22, and the Northeast Extension of the PA Turnpike which makes it easy to find and easier to enjoy!
